James Peakman freelanced for a number of years with ITV and Channel 4 until 2012 when he directed "Black Hill", which premiered at BAFTA and won best film at the 4th Wall film festival. "Black hill" was also nominated for best film at the Newport Beach Film Festival in Los Angeles. Following "Black Hill", James co-wrote and directed the comedy feature "4th Floor Of Singapore". Shortly after, James moved to China and worked with various studios as a director until forming Bader Media Entertainment in 2018. He returned to the UK in 2020 and continues writing and directing.
