Matt Visser was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. After a college basketball career in the United States, Matt returned home to Canada to finish his post-secondary education. During this time he was drawn back into the world of film and television and is since known for his work in Showtime's forthcoming limited series "Fellow Travelers" as well as FX's "A Teacher".
